Certainly no one expects mishaps to happen in their lives but when they come we are left to deal with it. In my case it has been the addiction to alcohol for my husband. We were getting together well till he got involved in this habit. All this initiated since the time he started visiting parties of colleagues. Never thought he would become addicted to it. Whatever reputation he had made in these years are now being massacred by his deeds. Speaking to him on this issue has yielded no results and he keeps devoted to his dreaded drink. Can I help him in anyways? As a person he is so good so I cant consider separation from him, am in a dilemma as you can see, can I expect any help?

Alcohol addiction definitely comes as a curse to the family members. For a long time our family has been dealing with the same as my father was an addict. To me it depends on the individual mindset of the person as I have seen people having influence on others in helping them getting over this problem. But not in all cases does this happen. Rehab clinics remain the only options in cases where the persons are too stubborn to respond to any form of help offered to them. Overall the situation is very hard to overcome that is for sure.

It's just crazy fun! I better get some sleep. This is too much. Imagine if this site was as popular as gaming site forums, or calgary puck forums. That would be wild! -lol
Everyone chatting about issues that actually matter. Rather than some overpaid hockey player who can't score, or the latest RTS game patch that that nerfed your favorite unit.
