The Provincial Eating Disorders Awareness Week (PEDAW) 2021 runs from February 1-7 across BC. It's led by Jessie's Legacy Eating Disorders Prevention & Awareness, a program of Family Services of the North Shore. Events include:

Loving Our Bodies and Ourselves During a Pandemic, a collection of videos, art, words, and other submissions from around the province. Share your own experiences and enter a chance to win a gift card!

Virtual conversations through FamilySmart's In the Know education and networking events and Open Hearts, Honest Conversations, a podcast by Family Services of the North Shore.

The premiere of a reading of The Voice in the Mirror, a play commissioned by the Vancouver Coastal Health Eating Disorders Program. This event takes place February 4 from 7:00pm-8:00pm on Zoom.

Light up purple: landmarks around BC will be lit in purple lights to support PEDAW.
