Tell us about social media's impact on mental health

Our upcoming issue of Visions Journal is on Young People and one of our articles is on the connection between social media and mental well-being. We want to include a sidebar to the piece featuring tweets from real young people under 25 about how social media helps and/or harms mental well-being. It could be what you've seen in yourself or others. You can include pros and cons in your tweet or just focus on pros or cons.

Select tweets we receive will be published in our November print magazine. Your twitter handle will also appear in print. And if we choose your tweet, you get a $5 gift card to Starbucks or iTunes!  Use the hashtag #visYP so we can find your tweet...

To be eligible for the prize, you must live in Canada. You must be 25 or under. You can tweet as often as you want but can only get a maximum of 1 gift card. If we choose your tweet, you'll need to agree to give us some contact info so we can get you your prize. We'll also send you a copy of the magazine if you want one!  Deadline is October 18th.

Tweet @HeretoHelpBC today and tell us how social media helps or harms your mental well-being.
